At our Autonomous Driving Campus in Unterschleißheim (Munich), our team is dedicated to advancing perception technologies for self-driving vehicles.

We focus on developing and optimizing the perception stack — a key component in enabling safe and intelligent autonomous mobility.

What awaits you?

  • You will support the development and optimization of the data toolchain for training and validating perception functions for autonomous driving.

  • Furthermore, you help to prototype state-of-the-art perception methods and contribute to the development of back-end tools.

  • In addition, you will be encouraged to explore the latest advances in computer vision and machine learning, applying deep learning techniques to large perception datasets.

  • Moreover, you assist in testing and validating new methodologies for integration into the BMW vehicle toolchain.
  • What should you bring along?

  • Studies in engineering, computer science, physics, robotics or a related field.

  • First practical experience in software development with Python or comparable programming languages.

  • Understanding of machine learning methodologies, especially deep neural networks.

  • Basic knowledge of sensor technologies for supervised learning approaches.

  • AWS knowledge is a plus.

  • Business fluent in German or English.
