**Who will you be working with?**
You will work for Annax, a Wabtec site specialized in passenger information systems for long and short distance trains, trams and subways.
**How will you make a difference?**
System Project Engineer is an hybrid role encompassing both tech knowhow and technical leader, a technical project manager is instrumental in the planning, scheduling, and management of embedded system projects.
**What will your typical day look like?**
+ Design and engineering of Passenger Information Systems or Video Protection Systems, including the creation of relevant documentation.
+ Technical project management from the bid phase to commissioning support.
+ Project coordination with the commercial project manager and the customer.
+ Internal coordination with hardware and software development, system integration, and testing teams.
+ Coordination with key suppliers.
+ Managing the project’s budget.
+ Providing bid and presales support.
+ Occasional travel within Germany, France, and internationally.
**What do we want to know from you?**
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in embedded systems, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
+ Experience with embedded systems.
+ Experience in hardware and/or software development.
+ Knowledge of embedded hardware architectures and digital electronics.
+ Familiarity with the embedded Linux environment.
+ Understanding of IP/Ethernet networks.
+ Fluency in English and German (French is considered an asset).
+ Experience in the rail industry is considered an asset.
+ Experience as a project manager is considered an asset.
+ Self-motivated and independent personality.
+ Availability to travel.
