    Your prospective job:

    For our customer Airbus Aerostructures you are acting as a Structural Analysis Engineer (m/w/d) at the location Hamburg-Finkenwerder.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Creation of analysis models, static and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance calculations, reports and studies for aircraft structures for all Airbus programs (A350XWB, A320 Family, and next generation Aircraft Programs)

  • Prepare the definition of analysis methods and specifications

  • Check and approve of internally and externally created analysis data and documentation

  • Check relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacturing and support other functions (i.e., production, customer support) as needed

  • Technical guidance of the sub-contracting companies providing structure analysis work

  • Apply airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines for safe operation of the Product with respect to structural integrity and operational effectiveness;

  • Define, interpret and validate structural tests for certification

  • Creation and monitoring of project plans, project performance and reporting

  • Collaborate and communicate with relevant stakeholders (design, project, manufacturing)
  • Your profile:

  • Completed studies in engineering, aerospace, technical studies or comparable

  • Several years of work experience in Fatigue and damage tolerance and stress engineering

  • Knowledge of numerical calculations (finite element modeling with, for example, Altair, Hyperworks) is desirable

  • Good knowledge of programming languages ​​(e.g., Python) and data analysis is desirable

  • Good knowledge in Catia V5 and Nastran

  • Knowledge in Google Workspace

  • Fluent German and English skills both spoken and written
