**We are searching for the best talent for the position of Software DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), to be located in Munich, Germany.**

**Classification:** This position is assigned to the CBA salary group E12 or E13 (Chemical Tariff Hamburg) or to the non-tariff area depending on the experience and background qualifications.

**Job Description:**

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a focus in DevOps to join our team to improve engineering efficiency.

The DevOps team manages the build system, CI/CD pipeline and plays a key role in the software development process.

**You will be responsible for:**

+ Support the software development lifecycle through CI/CD pipeline development
+ Advance and improve build and general support infrastructure
+ Develop provisioning and deployment strategies
+ Work with engineering teams to support their business requirements

**Qualifications / Requirements:**

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant field.

**Minimum Requirements** :

+ 2+ years of experience in DevOps or related field
+ Experience with Linux and command line tools.
+ Experience with automated build, continuous integration, and test automation systems via Jenkins or similar.
+ Experience with cloud and containerization technologies such as AWS and Docker.
+ Experience with code repository management, code merge, and code quality checks.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

**Preferred Skills & Experience:**

+ Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
+ Proficiency in CMake.
+ Experience with package managing systems e.g. Conan.
+ Experience with Artifactory and SonarQube.
+ Experience with QNX and Yocto.
+ Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack).
+ Experience working in medical devices.
+ Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
+ Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

**Other Requirements:**

+ This role may require up to 10% travel.
