Job Overview
In order to strengthen the Research and Development team located in Berlin-Weissensee, we are looking for an experienced Simulation Engineer (m/w/d).
The successful candidate will be involved in definition and new product development for flow and pressure sensors.
• Perform flow simulations on sensor components and systems
• Evaluate sensors behavior leading to high performing sensors
• Create models and simulation of systems, including ASIC, MEMS and packaging
• Participation in global sensor development with teams across the world
• Independent development and implementation of hardware-related firmware for sensor modules with a focus on sensor communication and measurement data processing, possibly microcontroller programming
• Flow and pressure sensors software tools elaboration for development
• Generate reports and present data to management and customers
• Support in problem resolution with simulation and data deep analysis
• Participation in development of new processes and technologies
What your background should look like:
• MSc or PhD in Engineering preferred (Systems engineering, electronics, physics, or related field)
• 5+ year experience in electronic industry, sensors is a plus
• Experience in the field of flow simulation/flow calculation and development of algorithms is a plus
• Proficient use of Python coding for simulation, other tools such as MathCad, Matlab are a plus
• Ansys fluent in flow simulation
• Agility in data analysis and its presentation to peers
• Excellent team player and capable of working independently, able to handle several projects concurrently
• Making things happening mentality, keen on sensors systems level solutions, you are always looking to push sensors performances limits
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced global environment
• Energizing and result oriented, you’re always willing to learn and grow in your position
• Curious, open minded, global and inclusive
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
