Senior Sales Solutions Architect - Automotive Job Opening In Schwalbach am Taunus – Now Hiring HERE Technologies

You as a Senior Sales Solutions Architect are a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver are ready to join our growing team in the EMEA region.

With over 5 years expertise in location technology, perfect English communication skills, you can discover customer challenges and design solutions solving customer requirements with HERE portfolio and services for the Automotive market.

Working directly with HERE Account Executives, you provide technical consulting with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor to HERE Customers and Partners.

You are part of a Business Solutions Architecture (BSA) team of over 10 people with specialization in areas like Automotive, Transport & Logistics (Fleet telematics, Supply Chain Visibility, Tour Planning & Execution, Middle / Last Mile, Yard/Warehouse Management) Telecommunication, Insurance (User Base Insurance), Public Sector (GIS, Traffic Management), Software/Cloud Technologies.

You will work mainly with HERE Automotive customers and HERE Solution Partners in the EMEA region.

The main role responsibilities are:

  • Customer Needs Discovery: Identifying customer challenges through technical discussions and value-selling activities.
  • Solution Architecture: Mapping customer needs with relevant HERE products and technology to optimize business outcomes.
  • Ecosystem Analysis: Including ecosystem and partner analysis when proposing solutions.
  • Project Management: Defining project and technical steps to navigate opportunities from discovery to contract closure.
  • Unique Solution designs: Developing and Replicating differentiating solutions and operate tailored pre-sales demonstrations effectively communicating and using HERE products & technology.
  • Technical Expertise: Providing deep technical knowledge for sales opportunities.
  • Value-Based Selling: Understanding and articulating the value proposition, the key benefits and differentiation factors of tailored technical architecture of HERE solutions in customer proposals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building relationships with key accounts, acting as a trusted advisor, and representing the company as a technical expert.
  • Customer Advocacy: Communicating customer needs, market requirements, and competitive insights to HERE product and engineering teams.
  • Industry Awareness: Staying up-to-date with the latest industry and technology trends such as Electric vehicles, generative AI and machine learning
  • Travel: up to 5%
  • Who are you?

    As successful as a Sr Sales Solutions Architect you will have the rare combination of deep technical knowledge in combination with great sales and presentation skills.

    You simply love to be in front of the customer making sure we land the deals that the sales teams have discovered.

    For this your background will most likely look like this:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems preferred.
  • Over 5 years of successful experience in solutioning & consulting in B2B software sales, professional services, system integrator, or customer organizations.
  • Mandatory OEM or Tier-1 experience, preferably in utilizing Map data and/or Location Based Services
  • Experience with software solutions in automotive and transport management systems, fleet telematics, global supply chain visibility, middle and last mile solutions.
  • Experience with location technology in the area of turn-by-turn navigation, ADAS, Autonomous Driving, Software Defined Vehicles, mapping, tracking, (EV) routing, tour optimization, and GIS.
  • Experience with vehicle E/E architectures, technical implications of connected vehicles, and map delivery ecosystems.
  • Proven track record in readily identifying and qualifying customer challenges, problem solving, delivering tailored large-scale solutions, and answering RFQ/RFI to customers directly or indirectly with/via solution partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-centric, solution-oriented, and actionable approach to solve business problems.
  • Ability to operate in highly distributed teams and Experience cooperating in complex deliverables across multiple disciplines, including sales, bid management, professional services, product management, product engineering, product marketing, and pricing.
