Arup’s international and multidisciplinary team in Frankfurt is at the forefront of designing innovative and energy-efficient data centres, ensuring that our clients meet their goals of performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.

The Opportunity

Join our international and multidisciplinary team of passionate design engineers and help us create high-quality, sustainable, and innovative data centre structures.

You will work on medium to large-scale mission-critical projects, covering all stages of design — from concept to construction supervision and handover.

As a Senior Project Manager - Data Centre at Arup, you will:

  • Lead project teams in the development of multidisciplinary projects at all levels of design and construction, including testing and commissioning
  • Plan and manage Projects as well as manage the quality
  • Integrate into an international and interdisciplinary team
  • Does this role inspire you?

    We are looking for someone passionate about sustainable data centre design and who possesses:

  • Degree in civil engineering, architecture or related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience and several years of experience as a project manager in leading multidisciplinary teams in the realization of large industrial or technology projects.

    Possibly initial experience in data center planning
  • Relevant project references in national and/or international science, industry or technology projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building planning and sound knowledge of RIBA, HOAI or similar standards
  • Timely realization of complex projects with associated budget planning
  • Strong communication skills, confident appearance, organizational and negotiating skills
  • Very good written and spoken English skills and ideally German
