What's the role?

HERE Technologies is looking for a Senior Product Manager to be part of Maps & Services business unit which sits at the core of what HERE does as a leading mapping and location company.

Responsibilities:

  • Based on inputs from Vertical Business Units (Automotive and Multi-industry) and available market insights you will work to refine and maintain an up-to-date product strategy via a Product Requirements Document.
  • You will define and own a rolling long-term roadmap for your product domain.
  • Together with Engineering you are accountable for roadmap delivery for your products.
  • You drive prioritization towards Engineering with regards to roadmap execution and delivery.
  • You will define, monitor and provide updates to the Management Team on key metrics for your products.
  • You provide support to Business unit PMs, Sales and other support functions on any topics related to your products (feature set, roadmap, readiness, key metrics , including support in customer-facing engagements, tenders, RFI/RFQs where required.

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse personality types and job functions spread over multiple continents.

  • You have a very good understanding for how to use agile methodologies and you apply it in your daily work

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of prior Product Management experience

  • You have managed complex software and/or data products in the past.

    If you have experience doing both it is a plus.

  • Ideally, you'd have experience in database ID management.

  • You are able to convey complex technical solutions in audience-friendly terms, up to VP level.

  • Fluency in English is a must
