Job Description

The Ecosystem and Enablement team is seeking a Senior Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and has both strong business and technical acumen.

You will drive and manage a team for establishing a brand-new Developer Platform for MassMarket users including but not limited to working across a broad range of teams to define the concept, set objectives with milestones, manage the development, review and launch.

What You’ll do 

  • Lead a team to establish a brand-new developer platform for mass-market users to simplify the development journey on Renesas MCU and MPU platforms by executing:
  • Overall definition of mass-market strategy and promotion for the platform
  • Concept definition to meet mass-market users’ requirements and improve competitiveness against competitors
  • Goals and deliverables setting for key milestones such as research, technical feasibilities, development phases, completion,
  • Project management for the platform implementation/development by internal and/or external engineering teams
  • Direction of Application Engineering and other internal and external stakeholders for out-of-box evaluation of the customer journey
  • Execution of defined Life-Time-Management and maintenance process
  • Definition of business contribution metrics and reporting
  • Outline overall investment proposal and get executive buy-in
  • Cross functional management of multiple stakeholders to ensure success
  • Facilitate training for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Marcom team to define and execute digital campaigns and events
  • Work closely with regional marketing teams located globally to plan and execute Go-to-Market

  • Qualifications

    Skills You’ll Need

  • BSEE or equivalent with 5-7 years of embedded systems and semiconductor marketing experience
  • Basic understanding of key IoT technologies like cloud, machine learning, security, human-machine interfacing, and wireless connectivity
  • Knowledge of MCUs and/or MPUs and development tools technologies
  • Prior experience on mass-market developer platform highly preferred
  • Prior experience managing programs in a cross-functional environment
  • Prior experience of leading projects by decision making with logical mind-set
  • Exceptional communication skills: presentation creation/delivery, public speaking, and written
  • Strong drive with ability to take ownership to accomplish objectives
  • Skill of task management aligning with team’s priorities
  • High willingness to challenge new initiatives
  • Ability to influence and convince internally and externally
  • A complete team player with a winning mindset
  • Communication skills with global broad team members internally and externally
  • Listen to stakeholders’ thoughts deeply
  • Prioritize regional BizDev teams’ opinions to accelerate business development
  • Fair decision making for global broad market
  • Skills to review legal contracts for partner engagements and projects for solution development
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel
