Tasks

What we are looking for

We want to be transparent with you—this position is not for everyone.

We’re looking for our first key engineering hire to take ownership and leadership in building out our technical foundations side by side with our experienced CTO.

You should be someone who’s unafraid to jump from the back end to the front end, from cloud environments to a whiteboard brainstorming session.

• You’ll have the chance to shape the product from the ground up, working on everything from designing APIs to scaling infrastructure.


• You’ll collaborate directly with the CTO, playing a pivotal role in strategic decisions around architecture, technology choices, and product direction.


• You’ll be working on diverse challenges where your impact is immediately visible, and as the company grows, you’ll build and lead the specialized teams in each area.

What we’re excited to see

• Experience with Langflow and similar workflow automation tools.


• Experience in ETL pipelines: You’ve written ETL jobs in Python and automated them using tools like Cloud Scheduler and Celery, demonstrating an ability to handle data workflows at scale.


• Performance optimization: You’ve worked with high-traffic systems (e.g., 200+ requests per second) and understand how to optimize SQL queries, reduce latency, and improve overall system performance.


• Full-stack mindset: You’re comfortable diving into anything from front-end user flows to back-end microservices.
  
  You see the big picture and aren’t afraid to prototype quickly.


• Cloud-savvy approach: You’re familiar with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and know how to build cloud-agnostic solutions.


• Ownership and leadership: You want to grow with the company, becoming a leading voice on the engineering team, defining best practices, and pushing technical boundaries.

Areas You Will Work With

1.

CRUD APIs

Our vision is to integrate our text-generation technology into every text box imaginable.

You’ll work on:

• Architecting robust, scalable APIs that can seamlessly handle spikes in traffic.


• Integrating our terabytes of AI models into various digital ecosystems, ensuring low latency and high uptime.


• Building best practices around endpoint design, testing, and deployment.

Web Architecture

Have a good eye for design and an understanding of user value.

You’ll be expected to:

• Contribute to front-end decisions, focusing on user experience and usability.


• Ensure the web layer is optimized for speed and scalability, providing responsive interactions even under heavy load.

Cloud Computing

We’ve come a long way from a single server under the founder’s desk.

Now, we:

• Build cloud-agnostic software that efficiently uses compute resources.


• Optimize deployments to get the best performance for the lowest cost.


• Monitor and fine-tune infrastructure to avoid bottlenecks and reduce latency.


• Worked with Google Cloud Platform before.

Requirements

What you should bring along

• Past experience, a portfolio of past work and experience or a degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.


• Eye for Usability and Design, User experience is a critical part of each product that we are releasing.
  
  Therefore we expect you to have an understanding of what would work best in terms of usability while implementing the back-end applications.
  
  In many cases, you will need to move without having input from UI / UX designers.


• Proactive, every day we are making 100s of decisions for developing our core product.
  
  When you see the need, we expect you to make some of those critical decisions on your own just like a business owner would do.


• Tech Stack, you should bring along knowledge in Python with experience in frameworks such as Flask, Quart, Fastapi


• Cloud Native, we are running all our compute operations on Cloud providers such as GCP and AWS.
  
  We expect you to have sufficient proficiency in managing resources that is needed for inferencing and training on cloud products.


• AI and/or SaaS Experience, from a fast-growing seed to a series A company.


• Outstanding analytical skills, demonstrated ability to break down complex problems, ability to frame the right questions, objectively analyze and evaluate a problem or issue, and problem-solve including simulating possible outcomes.


• Growth ownership, show us how your past experiences tie in our early challenges


• Domain knowledge with previous demonstrated experience in growing SaaS products around SME, Enterprise, and content software


• Thirst for growth, you are on the verge from tactician to strategist and want to grow at the same speed the company grows


• Outstanding writing skills, we are a team of passionate writers ourselves.

• Ability to execute, you can get things done fast and influence people towards a particular objective.
