Your role

As a Sales Development Representative / SDR (m/f/d) at Kipu Quantum, you’ll be at the front line of our growth, creating the sales pipeline that fuels our success.

We’re not focused on how many years you’ve been in sales or whether you have quantum experience - we care about mindset, energy, and potential.

The role is hybrid with regular on-site presence in Berlin.

Your responsibilities

  • Own and qualify inbound leads with speed and precision
  • Partner with marketing to launch and scale demand generation campaigns
  • Represent Kipu at top-tier industry events, building awareness and generating new opportunities
  • Proactively identify and pursue high-potential targets through outreach and cold calling
  • Support Account Executives in early-stage client meetings and strategy sessions
  • Master our technology and services, and confidently deliver pitches and product demos
  • Conduct market research to sharpen our go-to-market strategy and uncover new opportunities
  • Ownership of the CRM (Hubspot) to track communications

Your profile

  • Completed studies or apprenticeship in economics, physics, engineering or comparable qualifications
  • Native-level English fluency with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven initiative - you’ve started something, built something, or gone above and beyond in a previous role or project
  • Technical foundation with the ability to grasp and explain complex concepts, even if you’re not a quantum expert (yet)
  • Customer first mindset - you listen well, think commercially, and care about delivering value
  • Creative thinking, especially when it comes to content creation, storytelling, and lead generation strategies
  • Relentless curiosity and eagerness to learn - you’re excited by new ideas and thrive in fast-moving environments

Kipu Quantum is a German startup focused on quantum computing, with offices in Karlsruhe and Berlin.

We specialize in developing quantum algorithms tailored for specific applications and hardware.

Our solutions help various industries, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, logistics, and finance, to tackle complex problems using existing quantum hardware.

We aim to make practical quantum computing accessible by significantly reducing the time needed to achieve quantum advantage for real-world applications.


In December 2023, Kipu Quantum secured €10.5 million in seed funding, led by HV Capital and DTCF (DeepTech & Climate Fonds), with participation from Entrada Ventures, Quantonation, and First Momentum Ventures.

This funding will support the development of our hardware-specific quantum algorithms and accelerate the commercialization of our quantum solutions.
