 In Mannheim, over 1000 colleagues from 36 different countries work together to develop locomotives, as well as signal and propulsion technology for vehicles that are deployed both regionally and worldwide.
Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry.
Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen.

You’ll report to Georgios Karavolas and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to : 
 Contribute to the definition of the Project Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan, and act proactively for its implementationDefine verification methodology for selected deliverables, when requested from V&V strategyDefine test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities.
Liaise with PrCOM for exported testsPerform and report on allocated verification, integration and test activitiesInterface with experts in other department to align on selected V&V activity methodologySpecify, procure, develop, setup and configure assets such as testbenches and instrumentationProvide data to maintain applicable KPIsProvide valuable feedback for REX sessions and continuous improvementManage configuration and change management cycle related with V&V activities (simulation configuration, anomaly tracking, etc.)Follow-up with T&C for tests exported to site executionContribute in services that the network team provides like conformance tests, First System Inspections, trainings, etc

 Good analytical skill and previous experience in test & integration.Knowledge of at least one ADM domain (hardware, software, product, system) V&V methodology Engineering and System backgroundAt least 5 years in relevant positions (systems / sub-systems integration, embedded equipment, electrotechnical product development) in a highly complex and normative environment (railway signalling, aerospace, defense, nuclear) would be a major assetOpen-mindedProblem setting and problem solvingLeadership, team motivator and team playerUnderstand the sense of urgency and prioritizationWriting skills required: clarity, rigor, and concisionFluent in English.
