This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division.

All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Summary

HII - Mission Technologies is actively seeking a results-oriented Maven Smart System SME to support critical operations with the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE).

This role demands a technically skilled and mission-focused individual with a strong systems engineering background.

As a Maven SME, you will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive technical planning and conducting detailed analyses of system integration, verification, and validation activities.

You will evaluate cost, risk, supportability, and performance throughout the entire system lifecycle from concept and design to testing, deployment, maintenance, and eventual disposal.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring seamless translation of customer or operational requirements into complete system solutions that balance technical, scheduling, and budgetary considerations.

The role involves executing functional and timeline analyses, conducting trade studies, allocating requirements, and defining system interfaces to guide both hardware and software development in alignment with mission needs.
