Tasks

EN

• Implementation, configuration, operation, support, and documentation of Linux-related hardware and software


• Security management and configuration


• Administration and maintenance of activity and security logs for Linux systems


• Management of backup and recovery of applications and data in case of disaster, ensuring data integrity within and across platforms


• File transfers using Bash scripts


• Project assignments at an international client company

• Verwaltung und Konfiguration von Sicherheitslösungen


• Administration und Pflege von Aktivitäts- und Sicherheitsprotokollen für Linux-Systeme


• Sicherstellung von Backups und Wiederherstellungen von Anwendungen und Daten im Katastrophenfall zur Gewährleistung der Datenintegrität innerhalb und zwischen Plattformen


• Durchführung von Dateiübertragungen mittels Bash-Skripten


• Projektmitarbeit bei einem internationalen Kundenunternehmen

Requirements

EN

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable vocational qualification with relevant professional experience


• Career changers with experience and a STEM background are also welcome


• Ability to independently analyze and implement requirements


• Strong commitment and customer orientation


• Self-motivation, teamwork skills, and flexibility


• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken


• Solid knowledge of Suse Linux, VMWare, and Docker environments


• Several years of experience in managing business-critical systems


• Experience in operating HDS, NetApp, and IBM Spectrum Protect


• Advantageous: experience in administering relational databases and MS Windows Server

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder eine vergleichbare Berufsausbildung mit entsprechender Praxiserfahrung


• Auch Quereinsteiger mit Erfahrung und MINT-Hintergrund sind willkommen


• Fähigkeit, Anforderungen eigenständig zu analysieren und umzusetzen


• Hohe Einsatzbereitschaft sowie ausgeprägte Kundenorientierung


• Selbstmotivation, Teamgeist und Flexibilität


• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift


• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Suse Linux, VMWare und Docker-Umgebungen


• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Betreuung geschäftskritischer Systeme


• Erfahrung im Betrieb von HDS, NetApp und IBM Spectrum Protect


• Vorteilhaft: Kenntnisse in der Administration relationaler Datenbanken und von MS Windows Server
