eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology.
Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability.
Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields.
Our next-generation computing machines under development will be able to find solutions to problems that are out of reach today, thus enabling new innovative products and services for a brighter future.
We are looking for an IT Manager (f/m/d).
Responsibilities:
As an IT Manager, you will take ownership of our internal IT landscape - overseeing infrastructure, ensuring system security, and supporting teams across our two locations.
Depending on your level of experience, you will work on one or more of the following tasks:
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, VPNs, firewalls, and Microsoft 365
Implement and enforce IT security measures (e.g. patching, 2FA, encryption, endpoint protection), ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies
Lead and coordinate IT support across the company with its two locations, ensuring smooth operations for both onsite and remote teams
Oversee the setup, integration, and support of specialized software (e.g. COMSOL, SolidWorks PDM) and license servers
Coordinate IT asset tracking, license compliance, procurement, and documentation
Manage IT-related aspects of onboarding and offboarding, including access control and device setup
Plan and drive infrastructure upgrades, working with external providers to ensure scalability and reliability
Required Skills:
Proven experience in IT operations, including systems, networks, and Microsoft 365 administration
Proficient with Microsoft 365 admin tools and experience in software deployment and management
Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and network basics
Experience in leading IT projects and managing upgrades in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
Fluent in German and English
Experience building IT infrastructure in a startup or scaling environment is a plus
