A leading Japanese IT company is currently looking for an experienced Engineer who can support customers’ system integration and other various infrastructure needs.
You will be in charge of mainly 2nd line support for multiple Japanese business customers.
Business level English is required, and either German or Japanese are advantageous.
TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: Between 8:00 to 9:00 start, 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday
SALARY: Up to €40K -60K depending on experience
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Munich office (Work from home, 3 days per week available)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•1st and 2nd level support for customer specific System
• Dealing with the customers from the technical perspective, in case • Defining the requirements from the customers to design the network, specify the specs and create BOM.
• Project Management.
• Setting up, configure and implement the equipment at customers‘ premises, our office or DC on-site, or remotely.
• Acting upon any situation that requires technical and engineering assistance.
• Server and PC installation according to company directive
• Administration of Active Directory at customer’s site
• Planning, Installation and support of customer’s IT-Infrastructure
• Consulting and installation of Network, Firewall, and Internet access
• Remote-Support for customers as well as on-site support if requested
• Full support and troubleshooting for Microsoft operating systems and standard office applications
• Monitor and maintain customer‘s Internet connectivity, Network and Server systems
• Communication and coordination with IT responsible persons even abroad
• Defining standards for the • Lifecycle management
• Problem prevention
Essential:
• Excellent technical skills (especially Sler, server security, and clouds transformation related experience)
• Proven work experience of at least 5 years as an IT • Keen to work in a Japanese company and with an international team
• Service provider mindset
• Highly reliable and well organized
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible regarding new tasks
• Business-level English language skills
Desirable:
• Prior work experience at an IT service provider is highly preferred
