At the RoboTac Lab, you support the integration of multi-modal interactive perception and learning technologies in robotics to enhance human-machine collaboration and mobility solutions.

  • You contribute to the development of the next generation of intelligent interactive vehicles and robotics.

  • Here, you develop and test neuromorphic-based foundation models for multimodal inputs like vision, auditory, and tactile.

  • Designing foundation model algorithms to improve robotic grasp and manipulation is part of your role.

  • Additionally, you collaborate with experts in AI, robotics, and cognitive sciences.

  • What should you bring along?

  • Studies in electrical, electronic, control engineering, computer science, or a comparable field.

  • Knowledge of event-driven sensors and spiking neural networks.

  • Familiarity with neuromorphic computing concepts and tools.

  • Expertise in foundation models, transformers, robot learning, and computer vision.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
