Job Description
The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for the electrical hardware design and development of medical products:
Working mainly on medical machines comprised of electrical, mechanical, electromagnetic, user interfaces and software, Working on up-to-date High-safety HMIs, sensor probes and sensor interfaces, actuators, Responsible for designs that meet requirements and are optimized for production, reliability and cost, Working closely with the manufacturing team to support in addressing the manufacturing issues and offer quick solution from design perspective, Hardware development cycle involving concept design, system and subsystem requirements, component selection, Schematic entry and PCB layout, cable and assembly drawings, flow and timing functional diagrams, Working on prototype builds, analog and digital circuit analysis and troubleshooting and circuit test using laboratory equipment as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, function generators, Involvement in EMC testing activities and troubleshooting. Conducting engineering testing including test and evaluation methodologies, protocols and procedures, Cooperatation with Manufacturing and Test engineers. Bachelors/Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Familiar with sensors interfacing, power supply and microprocessor-based designs (Eg: STM32), Experience with Laboratory equipments or Healthcare industry, Good knowledge of ECADs as Mentor PADS, ALTIUM, Knowledge of requirement management tools as Polarion, DOORS, Teamcenter, Knowledge of EU, US and international medical quality, safety standards, emissions and immunity (IEC -1/-1-2, RoHS, ISO , ISO ), Knowledge of IPC standards for design and manufacturing (IPC /, IPC A etc), Electronic systems schematic interpretation, electrical circuit design, electrical cable design, equipment troubleshooting and repair, Experience and knowledge of design for test, reliability and quality methodologies, Fluency in English language.
