About the role
Join our Integrations team at Taktile as a Full Stack Developer.
You will build robust, scalable web applications by developing Python-based backend services on AWS and crafting dynamic front-end interfaces using React and React Query.
Your contributions will directly enhance our automated decisioning platform, driving performance, reliability, and seamless integration across our tech stack.
Location
Taktile operates on a hybrid model.
This role is based out of our Berlin HQ .
What You'll Do
Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs using Python on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, EC2, and RDS.
Build interactive, data-driven user interfaces with React and React Query to ensure smooth and efficient user experiences.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (unit and integration tests) to maintain high code quality and rapid deployment cycles.
Optimize application performance, conduct peer code reviews, and produce comprehensive technical documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions.
Ideal, But Not Required
Experience with AWS services and serverless architectures.
Expertise in frameworks like FastAPI and familiarity with tools such as DynamoDB, Pydantic and AWS Lambda.
Required Experience
Proficiency in Python, Typescript and React.
Prior experience in RESTful API development and management.
Strong understanding of state management, component architecture, and performance tuning .
Experience building dynamic forms with validation (e.g., Formik, Zod) and API-first frontend architectures .
Fluency in English , both written and spoken, is crucial to lead communication in our globally distributed environment.
