FPGA Developer (m/f/d) | Berlin-Adlershof | 20% Remote
Tasks
Design and develop FPGA firmware for electronic modules Create FPGA designs in VHDL and with block design methodologies Simulate, synthesize, and verify firmware against requirements Develop microcontroller firmware ( Microblaze, Zynq ARM, RISC-V) Document development results and prepare functional test plans Perform systematic troubleshooting and debugging of firmware Additional/Optional Tasks
Support in electronics development Assisting customers with their implementation Commissioning, testing, and support during system integration Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Solid experience in FPGA development and verification (VHDL) Familiarity with Xilinx VIVADO/VITIS and ideally AMD components Strong understanding of FPGA architecture and electronics Good programming skills in C; experience with Git/SVN, Confluence, Jira is a plus Strong problem-solving skills, quality awareness, and independent, goal-oriented work style Very good English skills (written and spoken); German is a plus Benefits
