As a Fire Protection Engineer, you'll collaborate with diverse teams to design and implement safety systems that protect some of the world's most critical infrastructure.



Key job responsibilities
- Design and oversee comprehensive fire protection systems for data centers worldwide
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement fire safety solutions
- Review and ensure compliance with international fire protection standards
- Provide technical guidance on fire protection engineering matters
- Support continuous improvement of design standards and methodologies

A day in the life
You'll partner with architects and engineers to create innovative fire protection solutions.

Your day might include reviewing design proposals, conducting water supply analyses, or consulting with global teams on safety implementations.

You'll balance technical expertise with relationship building as you work with stakeholders across regions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field with 2 additional years of qualifying experience
- Experience in fire protection design engineering or construction
- Knowledge of fire protection industry standards (NFPA, ICC)
- Experience with design review processes and standard development
- Ability to interpret construction documents and technical specifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Technical writing experience including documentation and training materials
- Experience in data center, medical, or industrial construction projects
- Licensed Fire Protection Engineer certification
- Knowledge of BS & ICC Codes, NFPA Standards, and FM requirements
- Experience with performance-based fire protection design
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems commissioning
- Strong analytical capabilities
