Job description

We are seeking a motivated, proactive, and skilled Electrical Engineer (E&I) to join our Electrical Process and Technical Safety team in Hamburg, Germany within the service area Offshore Infrastructure and Technology.

You will be part of an experienced team of process, technical safety, and electrical engineers who, besides working in Germany, cooperate with colleague teams in Groningen, Netherlands and Esbjerg, Denmark.


Among a variety of services, you will perform:

  • Independent verification of on- and offshore installations for O&G customers.
  • Development, design, construction, analysis, review, and verification of renewable energy projects (PtX), as well as Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS/CCUS).
  • Technical advisory services to support customers.
  • Active participation in business development to increase our market position.
  • Project management, with responsibilities varying based on your preferences and experience.

    To be successful in this role you need to have:

  • Masters degree, or higher in Electrical Engineering, 
  • Recent graduation, or several years of professional experience working on utility scale projects (design, compliance, operations), preferably in O&G or renewables sector, 
  • Fluent English language skills are a must, and German language skills at CEFR level B2 is preferred as interaction/cooperation with German authorities is part of the role,
  • Good understanding of LV and MV systems; HV knowledge/experience is a plus, 
  • Sound knowledge of German requirements for on- and offshore systems, 
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft tools; AI tool skills are a plus, 
  • Curiosity and excitement to explore new angles in every project, 
  • Positive attitude towards new markets and mediums (., PtX sector, hydrogen, ammonia, CCS/CCUS).
  • Safety mindset.
