What you'll do


In the Private Cloud delivery organization, we are focusing on the development of solutions for our external and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth, transparent, and automated way of selling, configuring and provisioning of landscapes to SAP’s private cloud customers.

In your role as a Development Program Manager (f/m/d), you will responsible together with the leadership team to drive the program and work closely with the business as well as our delivery teams to drive end-to-end program execution

  • Drive project management topics in specific areas of ownership and manage progress and key outcomes with the stakeholders.

  • Proactive stakeholder and expectation management; build-up/maintain large network across all involved roles on operational level to support collaboration & execution.

  • Ensure business readiness and enablement for new offerings, including process changes, stakeholder alignment, and execution tracking.

  • Execute against (project) goals to meet overarching transformational objectives, review impact execution status together with Value Management team

  • Other project management functions like Stakeholder management, conducting workshops leading to identification of dependencies, pre-requisites & key design decisions, reporting to management and manage the E2E implementation of the solution scope

  • Driving strategic decisions and operationalization of the same with a clear and concise plan of execution

    • What you bring

  • Experience leading business transformation initiatives with a focus on delivery and process enablement, change management, and outcome-driven execution

  • University degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Informatics, Informatics, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines

  • Profound understanding of SAP’s Cloud business, strategy and operations, its services, solutions and organization

  • Proficiency and understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MSPP, MS SharePoint, MS Planer, SAP Solution Manager, Mural and other MS tools would be an added advantage

  • PMI-ACP, Prince2 Agile, Scrum, SAFe, SAP Activate or any other Agile methodology

    • This is highly preferred but not a must:

  • Very good communication skills at senior executive level to secure buy-in via active involvement & objective decision making

  • Stakeholder management, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience

  • 6+ years of working experience with proven track record in strategic consulting or cloud delivery roles

  • 6+ years of working experience in Project management

  • Good understanding and experience in cross SAP solutions integration

  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP Solution Portfolio, SAP Rise Methodology, Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, SAP Lean IX, Signavio and Cloud ALM & SAP Business AI is a added advantage

  • Solid experience in driving critical and cross-functional projects/programs

  • Track record of conceptual as well as execution capabilities in cross-unit environment

  • International and cross-cultural working experience
