What you'll do:
This role is part of the Asset Library Team which significantly contributes to Suite Repository.
Suite Repository is meant to reshape how users explore, create, and manage artifacts across the SAP Signavio suite.
The envisioned unified repository aims to consolidate all business transformation management artifacts, leading to increased process transparency across the entire suite.
What you can expect:
· Being part of a talented team, embracing agile principles and values.
· Working on key strategic cross-team initiatives e.g. Suite Repository or Harmonized Role & Access Management
· Build backend foundations for future AI with clean APIs, solid data models, and strong team collaboration.
· Drive product development from ideation to data-driven improvements.
· Bootstrap, develop, maintain and operate both new (micro) services and existing applications, following either traditional server-based or serverless principles, end-2-end.
· Partner with other teams and individuals across the organization to tackle intricate technical & business challenges.
· Uphold stringent security guidelines, safeguarding our operations and data.
· Challenge others’ ideas and have your ideas challenged likewise to create something great.

Would be great if you bring:
· 7+ years of software developer experience, following agile methodologies
· Passionate about fast iterations, test-driven development, pair programming and pragmatic development approaches
· You have experience managing projects of high volume or high risk/complexity including various groups of stakeholders
· Curious and proactive about using AI tools to boost developer experience, productivity, and how we build software
· Ability to balance pragmatism and engineering excellence
· In-depth knowledge of Java and exposure to functional programming
· Experience utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and associated cloud technologies
· Hands-on experience with SQL databases, ideally MySQL or PostgreSQL
· Experience with microservice architectures, message-based systems
· You formulate clear project plans incl.
mile stones, timeline and sub projects and communicate messages relevant for project in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to project team
