Job Description
As part of the AIT team you will have the following responsibilities: 
Supporting the manufacture, fit checks, modification and integration of multi-layer insulation (MLI) in accordance with documentation and project-specific requirements;Independent execution of activity control sheets (ACS) and procedures for quality assurance and tracking of manufacturing steps;Support and execution of integration activities at various locations as well as in international test and launch campaigns;Support in the creation and documentation of new processes for efficiency improvement and process optimization;Maintenance of the MLI material database to ensure up-to-date material and process data;Independent execution of tasks in the area of MLI manufacturing and integration based on specified production documents in compliance with project plans and quality standards.Qualifications
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
At least vocational training in Mechanics / Metalworking with many years of professional experience;At least 2 years’ experience in mechanics;At least 2 years design experience;Several years of experience in the manufacture of MLI for space applications is required;Practical experience in the mechanical integration of satellite assemblies is required;Familiarity with standard procedures and standards in the aerospace industry (ECSS) is an advantage;Detailed functions knowledge of MS Office is a must;Fluent English and proficient level of German is required.
