Tasks

The scope of tasks as a Full Stack Engineer will be centered around supporting us in the ongoing development of web services within the getML framework:

• Develop and Deploy Cloud Services: Design, develop, and deploy cloud-connected services for getML, ensuring the successful delivery of at least one major feature within the first 3 months.
  
  
• Feature Ownership and Collaboration: Own key product features, working closely with data scientists to seamlessly integrate new functionalities that enhance the user experience and reinforce getML's unique market advantages.
  
  
• Enhance Web Presence: Drive the technical enhancement of the mkdocs based getML web platform, focusing on optimizing user journeys and accelerating onboarding.
  
  Ensure that every interaction is smooth, intuitive, and fast, creating a seamless experience from first visit to full integration.
  
  
• Software Consulting: Collaborate with interdisciplinary and agile teams to design and develop data-driven applications for our customers.
  
  Your role involves actively conceptualizing and building scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with our clients' systems and infrastructure.
  
  
• Mentorship and Code Quality: Uphold best practices in software development by conducting thorough code reviews and mentoring junior developers, leading to improved code quality and team growth.

Requirements

Here are some qualifications that would help you succeed in this role:

• Strong proficiency in HTML, JS / TypeScript, and CSS / SCSS, with the ability to understand Python or Golang.
  
  
• Experience with modern frontend tooling, particularly Vite.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
  
  Experience with Google Firebase & GCP is a plus.
  
  
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
  
  
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI / CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools.
  
  
• Ambition to gain a foundational understanding of AI / ML topics.
  
  
• Ability to communicate effectively in both German (B2) and English.

Compensation: We want to offer compensation that aligns with industry standards.

To maintain a transparent and fair approach to compensation, the salary ranges for all positions are determined based on market benchmarks and a comprehensive leveling framework.

For this role, Leipzig based salary ranges from 48.000€ to 72.000€ p.a. + stock options, depending on the leveling we’ll establish with you throughout the hiring process.
